Life is all memory, except for the one present moment that goes by you so quickly you hardly catch it going.

Last week of January 2016
What went down:
Not my birthday but my mother's whom I'm lucky enough to still have on this earth to enjoy. Her 77th, a feat when considering how youthful she is. All of which has me focused on the moment and realizing each day is a gift. Not just hers to me but mine to her. I owe it to her to put my best foot forward. To be my best self. To embrace fully the time we have now. Which forced me to examine some things and put a few affairs in order. I set clear goals for the rest of the year and drafted a vision board. I also joined the gym. Again. This time I plan to keep going. Life may be a series of moments but we can try our best to capture them.
Reflections Friday has returned from hiatus. It is a weekly exercise in gratitude and recognition.
